Ambassador Atayut said that 2022 is the 10th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic cooperative relations between China and Thailand. Over the past 10 years, Thailand-China relations have maintained the momentum of continuous vigorous development and carried forward. The economic and trade relations between the two countries have become closer. Among ASEAN countries, Thailand is China's third largest trading partner, and China has been Thailand's largest trading partner for nine consecutive years. The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) provides a new opportunity for deepening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. In the next step, Thailand will increase cooperation with local provinces and cities in China, and will make full use of the preferential terms and rules of free trade agreements including RCEP to expand the industrial chain and integrate more into the global value chain. The Thai side is willing to increase the alignment of development policies with the Chinese side, increase cooperation in emerging industries such as low-carbon and environmental protection, and inject more content into the "China-Thailand family".\
